About Us

We’re Victoria and Ashley —partners in life, creativity, and now publishing. On December 1st, 2025, we’ll be proudly launching The Portsmouth Magazine, a monthly publication dedicated to celebrating the people, stories, and spirit of our city.

 

The idea was born from a simple but powerful desire: to bring Portsmouth closer together. We wanted to create something that reflects the richness of our community—its history, its voices, and its future. Whether it’s local legends, ghost stories, heartfelt tributes, or small business spotlights, The Portsmouth Magazine is a space for connection, creativity, and pride.

 

Ashley has called Portsmouth home for over 22 years. After a decade in the construction industry—starting as a carpenter and eventually running his own building company—he’s now channeling that hands-on grit into creative entrepreneurship.

Victoria was born in Reigate, Surrey, and met Ashley at Havant College. Today, she’s a full-time mum to our beautiful daughter Margot, balancing family life with part-time work in the insurance industry.

This magazine is a true family effort, and being part of it brings us immense joy. We’re passionate about storytelling, community outreach, and giving local voices a platform. Every issue is crafted with care, and we’re always on the lookout for fresh content, contributors, and ideas.
